Chef José Andrés: Hampton Creek’s Eggless Omelette ‘Blows Your Mind’
Chef José Andrés is known for his inventive attitude towards food, so it makes sense he’d strike up a friendship with Hampton Creek, arguably the most innovative (and fastest growing) food company on the market at the moment.
Yesterday, Andrés apparently visited Hampton Creek headquarters, and Tweeted some glowing praise about the experience.
He referenced the “amazing things they are doing,” and wrote “Not everyday you see something that blows your mind away!already is changing the world! amazing eggless omelette.”
Hampton Creek CEO Josh Tetrick responded with some glowing praise of his own, Tweeting “Blessed to call you our friend, Jose.”
Tetrick has also announced that HC’s Just Scramble product will hit shelves in November.
The world has never seen anything like Hampton Creek before. The company rapid growth and amazing inroads into mainstream markets is proof the world can change—naysayers be damned.
