So where do you turn to satisfy the imminent need to feed? Here are the ten most delicious vegan breakfast sandwiches in Los Angeles.

  • Blazin’ Burgers — This family and women-owned burger spot in Burbank boasts an indulgent menu of burgers, chick’n, shakes and fries. Its blazin’ breakfast burger box features a scrumptious classic cheeburger stacked with toasted hashbrowns, JustEgg, melted american cheese, hickory smoked bacon, special breakfast sauce and all inside a toasted Brioche bun.
  • Nic’s on Beverly — This chic spot with a stellar outdoor patio offers a couple of yummy brunch sando options. Its breakfast sandwich features sausage, American cheese. a shallot potato cake, a folded JUST egg patty, red fresno aioli and breakfast potatoes. It also offers the waffler which is JUST egg, American cheese, tempeh bacon, jalapeΓ±o aioli and breakfast potatoes
  • Locali — This “healthy convenience” eatery has some of the most delicious sandwiches (breakfast and otherwise) LA has to offer. At the top of the breakfast list is its baaadasss breakfast sandwich. The absolutely outstanding creation features a vegan sausage patty, vegan soy-free cheddar, vegan chipotle sauce and maple syrup on a sprouted grain english muffin. To die for.
  • Little Barn Coffee House — This minority-owned coffee shop slash eatery in Glassell Park couldn’t be cuter! The extensive menu (which is all vegan) features a lengthy list of breakfast sandwich options including the OG breakfast sandwich with marinated tofu, vegan cheddar cheese, tomato, red onion and basil; the maple fennel sausage biscuit with marinated tofu, vegan maple fennel sausage, vegan cheddar cheese, and house sauce on a homemade biscuit; and the monte cristo with grilled cheese French toast, vegan bacon and vegan cheddar cheese topped with maple syrup and powdered sugar.
  • Doomie’s Home Cooking — If you’re looking for mouthwatering breakfast eats Thursday through Sunday, Hollywood’s Doomie’s has it all. From its savory-sweet mighty cristo with bacon, scramble and cheese French toast sandwich covered in powdered sugar to its breakin burrito with scramble, carnitas, taters, cheese, pico de gallo and salsa — you have your pick of sammies.
  • Belle’s Bagels — If you haven’t visited this bodacious bagel spot in the trendy (and plant-based friendly) Hancock Park neighborhood, you’re missing out. Its north of York bagel sammie is 100% vegan and features smashed avo, cukes, radishes, sprouts pickled onions and and sbez hot sauce.
  • Peet’s Coffee — This nationwide chain rolled out a super-yummy everything plant-based sandwich earlier this year, and it’s well worth a try. It’s super yummy seasoned Beyond breakfast sausage layered with JUST Egg and vegan cheddar on a toasted everything bagel thin.
  • VOWburger — This philanthropically-minded eatery makes the most delicious of brekkie sammies. The VOWegg sandwich is made with JUST Egg, vegan cheese and green VOWsauce (with optional Impossible sausage, which I highly recommend) on an English muffin bun. Soooooo good!
  • Plant Power Fast Food — This popular chain has multiple locations in SoCal, and its fried egg and bacon bagel is absolutely fabulous. And that’s not the only option! They also offer a Canadian bacon, egg and cheese; a sausage, egg and cheese; and even a breakfast burrito with JUST Egg, cheese, sausage, hash brown, chipotle aioli and spinach.
  • Real Food Daily — If you’re in the mood for breakfast for dinner (or lunch), this spot offers it up all day. Its breakfast sandwich of record includes a tofu patty, chipotle aioli, tomato, avocado, tempeh bacon and hash browns on a brioche bun.
