Ever since the news broke that Burger King would be rolling the Impossible Burger out to all 7,200 of its locations nationwide, it’s like everyone in America has caught Impossible fever.
And in addition to BK, there are thousands of restaurants across the U.S. that are serving the Impossible Burger and/or the Beyond Burger as we speak.
So whether you’re Team Impossible or Team Beyond (or both, because YUM), there are all kinds of options!

Chains That Serve the Impossible Burger
Burger King — Currently the Impossible Whoppers are available at all Burger King locations in the U.S.! 🙌 Chow down! Just ask for no mayo if you’re eating vegan. (And ummm don’t sue BK plz! 🙄) Check out the store locator here.
Umami Burger — This popular chain has been offering the Impossible burger since 2018 and now all of its burgers can be made vegan! Woo! They have vegan cheese AND the oohmami sauce and the Umami dust will automatically be vegan from here on out. They also have shareable vegan cauliflower bites AND a vegan milkshake if you wanna level up your order. Umami has locations in California, Illinois, Nevada, and New York. Red Robin — This ubiquitous burger chain recently started serving the Impossible burger in every one of its eateries. It comes served with Red’s pickle relish, red onions, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and choice of cheese, and served with a side of Bottomless Steak Fries. (Order it without cheese and mayo to make it vegan!). White Castle — Harold and Kumar can cut their cholesterol by opting into Impossible Sliders at the nearly 600 locations of this famous fast food chain. The slider automatically comes vegan (unless you choose to order it with dairy cheese). Cheesecake Factory — The chain eatery with maybe the biggest menu EVER has also added the Impossible Burger to its neverending lineup. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and special sauce on a toasted brioche bun. Order it without the sauce and a different bread/bun option to make it vegan! Dave & Buster’s — This super fun, grown-up version of Chuck E. Cheese (complete with games AND adult beverages) is forward thinking when it comes to burger selections. Its Impossible Burger option comes with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and garlic aioli. Order it without the cheese and aioli and with a lettuce wrap (instead of a bun) to make it vegan. You can also sub out an Impossible patty for any other burger on the menu! Dog Haus — Known for its burgers and hot dogs (and its epic tagline “the absolute wurst”), this chain is now serving both the Impossible Burger and the Beyond Sausage — double win! It offers an Impossible Burger with pickles, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, and special sauce — and an Impossible Slider with mayo, white American cheese, and carmelized onions. Bar Louie — This charming gastrobar is now serving up the Impossible Burger at all locations. Any house burger can be made with the Impossible Burger. While they all traditionally come with cheese or other animal products, you can remove ingredients to veganize your choice. Bareburger — This mostly Northeastern chain is one of few that carries both the Beyond Burger AND the Impossible Burger! WIN! The Beyond Burger is vegan as is. It’s served with vegan American cheese, sweet pickles, red onion, green leaf lettuce, vegan mayo and ketchup on a sprout bun. The Impossible Burger comes with American cheese, caramelized onions, dill pickles, green leaf lettuce, and special sauce on a brioche bun. (The chain recently rolled out a 50% vegan menu, so many locations have all kinds of extra goodies to go with your burger of choice!) Earl’s Kitchen + Bar — While primarily based in Canada, this chain has multiple locations across America — and they’re all about those vegan options! The Impossible Burger comes standard with tomatoes, onions, lettuce, pickles, mayonnaise and mustard on a brioche bun. To make it vegan, ask for the “gluten-aware” bun and no mayo. Burger 21 — This rapidly expanding brand is all about burgers reinvented — so it makes sense that the Impossible Burger would make its way to the lineup. Its version comes with red onion, lettuce, and tomato on a toasted brioche bun. To make it vegan, ask for the whole wheat bun or a lettuce wrap. Gott’s — This iconic, Northern California chain has seven locations that have been serving up classic burgers since ’99. The menu has since upgraded, and now includes the Impossible Burger topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and secret sauce on a toasted egg bun. An Impossible patty can also be subbed out for any other burger on the menu. To veganize, opt for a different bread choice or lettuce wrap and leave off the cheese and secret sauce. Monty’s Good Burger — While there are only two locations of this entirely plant-based, In ‘N Out style eatery (so far!) in Southern California, it’s only a matter of time before Monty’s takes over the world. It’s that damn good. For now, you can order Impossible Burgers (double or triple stacked, if you’re starved!), non-dairy shakes, tots, and all kinds of secret menu items at Monty’s two Los Angeles area locations. Golden Road Brewing — This California-based brewery and restaurant chain has four locations in the Golden State (although Sacramento’s is currently closed for repairs) — and all serve up the Impossible Burger. Chains That Serve the Beyond Burger
Sheetz — This popular chain of convenience stores across the mid-Atlantic has now added the Beyond Burger to all 597 of its stores. The burger can be customized with over 47 different options including breads, toppings, etc. Sheetz has locations in Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
TGI Friday’s — This old school, crowd-pleasing chain was one of the first to offer the Beyond Burger, much to everyone’s delight. It comes as a cheeseburger with white cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickles and Fridays™ sauce — but you can leave off the cheese and sauce to make it vegan. It’s served as the Beyond Famous Star® with Cheese (but you can order sans cheese and mayo to make it vegan). Veggie Grill — This uber-popular, all vegan fast casual eatery has a full menu that features different Beyond Meat products, from sausages to burgers. The Beyond Burger has pride of place, however, and the menu offers an array of different ways to order it. The VG Beyond Burger is the classic choice, and it comes with American “cheese”, grilled onions, house made sauce, tomato, iceberg lettuce, sesame buns and crispy fries. There are two options — the Beyond Burger (with cheese and mayo) and the Vegan Beyond Burger. The vegan variety comes with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions on a multigrain bun. Chelo’s Hometown Bar & Grille — While limited to Rhode Island, Chelo’s is the state’s largest family-owned chain. Each location offers a vegan Beyond Burger served on a toasted roll with lettuce, tomato, pickles and caramelized onions. Chelo’s has eight locations across Rhode Island. Subway — Ok, while they don’t technically have a burger, they are offering a Beyond Meat meatball sub at select locations in California, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Indiana, Mississippi and Michigan! Check out the store locator to see if it’s available near you.
Dunkin Donuts — You probably heard that the super-popular brekkie chain recently rolled out a Beyond Sausage Sandwich and it was a HUGE deal. (I mean, Snoop Dogg served it up himself.) Order it without egg or cheese (but add hash browns!) and chow down. Dunkin Donuts has locations in 41 states.

Side note: Eating just one Impossible Burger (instead of beef) saves the equivalent of 75 sq ft of land, 1 half tub of bathwater, and 18 miles of emission in a car.

Thanks for this great list. Just tasted my first Impossible Burger and must say it had all the pluses of the burgers I used to like before I got smart, minus any sense of gore. It’s now on the menu at Earl’s Kitchen. Though they have scores of restaurants by the same name in Canada, they have ten restaurants in the U.S. Only important detail: Are all these impossible burgers being served with vegan mayo? I suspect not, though Earl’s Kitchen assured me theirs was all plant-based, as stated on the menu.

How do these chains cook the IB? On the same grill as meat or separate grills? Or nuke them in a microwave?
You’d have to check with them individually! I’d doubt they ever use a microwave, but they probably vary as far as the grill goes.
