7-Eleven Switching to Just Mayo in All U.S. Stores

just-mayo-7-11In more major news from Hampton Creek, 7-Eleven, the largest convenience store chain in the world, just made the switch to Just Mayo in all its U.S. stores.

That will add up to a lot of eggs saved, and a lot of lives.

Hampton Creek is on fire. Its products are dominating mainstream markets, which is excellent news for businesses, consumers and animals alike. Plants are the future of food, and Hampton Creek is proof.

It looks like even more news might be coming from the company, as a recent post on Medium by CEO Josh Tetrick references that HC’s list of collaborators includes the largest coffeehouse in the world. We can only think of one brand that fits such a description …

In his inspiring manifesto, Tetrick also wrote this:

“We started Hampton Creek because we believe in the goodness of people — in the goodness of you. And you, the same folks who created a food system that often violates your own values, have validated what all of us knew: It turns out that when you create a path that makes it easy for good people to do good things — they will do it.”

Amen to that.

Does 7-11 use mayonnaise in any products that are otherwise vegan?

Good question Spencer! Not sure, but I can certainly drop them a line and try to find out.
