Beyond Meat Launches Taco and Burger Meal Kits for Delivery

Ethan Brown of Beyond Meat

Everyone could use a little convenience in the kitchen, hence the genius of pre-made meal kits. Delivered to your door, these all-in-one options provide everything a home cook needs to whip up an easy dinner.

Now, Beyond Meat is offering two of the above: a plant-based burger kit and a taco kit for order via Chef’d. The burger kit offers dinner for two for $24, and the taco kit, $28.

“The Chef’d meals are a convenient meal solution for everyone and especially great for people who don’t live near a store that carries Beyond Meat,” Caitlin Grady, Brand Partnerships Manager at Beyond Meat, tells Latest Vegan News. “For people who want to reduce their meat consumption – it’s a great way to introduce them to our products in a easy to succeed way with recipes and all ingredients.  They can learn some new cooking tips and to create a delicious dinner.”

The innovative company — which offers everything from burgers to meatballs to chicken poppers — is rapidly growing, and even has products available in Walmart. Beyond Meat’s rise in popularity is a major nod to the increased interest in plant-based meats.

Launched in April of this year, Chef’d is an online meal store designed to offer consumers different meal prep choices depending on skill level, food preferences and serving size.

Beyond Meat has shown success when it comes to partnering with other companies, including linking up with Daiya cheese for a supreme pizza, and working with Tropical Smoothie Cafe to offer Beyond Meat products in different dishes. The company also has its finger on the pulse of convenience foods, with a former McDonald’s CEO recently joining the Beyond Meat board.

Beyond Meat offerings can be ordered via Chef’d and are available for delivery within 1-2 days of placing an order (as late as 6 p.m. EST, five days a week, TuesdaySaturday). Visit Chefd.com to order.
